Prof. Dr. Juan Llorens
Head of the Knowledge Reuse Research Group
Professor Dr. Juan Llorens holds a position as Professor at the Informatics Department of the Carlos III University of Madrid – Spain (www.uc3m.es), as well as CTO in The Reuse Company (www.reusecompany.com).
He received his MS degree in Industrial Engineer from the ICAI Polytechnic School at the UPC University in Madrid in 1986, Spain, and his PhD in Industrial Engineering and robotics at the Carlos III University of Madrid, Spain in 1996. Since 2003 he is Professor at the Carlos III University of Madrid. His main subject is Knowledge Reuse, which he teaches in the Informatics studies at the University. Dr. Llorens is the leader of the KR Group (Knowledge Reuse Group) within the University. Since 2008, based on an agreement with his University, he shares his academic duties with a position of CTO in The Reuse Company (a brand of the spin-off organization named CISET) that commercializes systems engineering quality and reuse technology.
Since 1999 he is also in the board of CISET. His current research involves the study of knowledge technologies and system engineering techniques integration towards Software and Information quality measurement and Reuse. He is member of INCOSE’s (International Council on Systems Engineering, www.incose.org) Requirements Working Group.

Prof. Dr. Gonzalo Génova
Prof. Dr. Gonzalo Génova received in 1992 his MS degree in Telecommunication Engineering (Area of Telematics), from the School of Telecommunication Engineering, Polytechnic University of Madrid, Spain (Final project: Critical real-time systems in Ada. Execution-time measurement methodology). In 1996 he received his MS degree in Philosophy from the University of Navarre, Pamplona, Spain, with a work on semiotics and the logic of discovery in Charles S. Peirce (Final research: Charles S. Peirce: The logic of discovery), developed within the Group of Peirce Studies. From 1996 to 1999 he worked in the Data Processing Service at the University of Navarre, from its School of Engineering at San Sebastián, laboring mainly as analyst within the InforUnav Project (new Academic Management System for the University of Navarre). In 1999 he moved to the Carlos III University of Madrid, where he followed the Doctoral Program in Computer Engineering and in 2003 he received his PhD, with a work on the semantics of UML associations (PhD thesis: Interlacement of structural and dynamic aspects in UML associations). He is currently an Associate Professor of Software Engineering in the Department of Informatics at the Carlos III University of Madrid. His main research subjects, within the Information Engineering Group and in close cooperation with The Reuse Company, is modeling and modeling languages in software engineering, as well as requirements engineering.

Prof. Dr. Juan Miguel Gómez-Berbís
Prof. Dr. Juan Miguel Gómez Berbís is an Associate Professor at the Department of Computer Science in the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. He obtained his PhD from the Digital Enterprise Research Institute (DERI) at National University of Ireland, Galway. He received his Master Thesis in Software Engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (EPFL) in Lausanne (Switzerland) and an Msc. in Telecommunications Engineering from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM). He was involved in a number of FP5 and FP6 European Research Projects.
Juan Miguel Gómez Berbís has published over thirty scientific international publications via books, journals, conferences and workshop contributions. He has been program committee, reviewer, attendee and organizer of multipe scientific events. His current research interests include the Semantic Web, Semantic Web Services, Business Process Modeling, formal methods for eCommerce and eBusiness and, recently, Software-as-a Service (SaaS).

Dr. Anabel Fraga
Dr. Anabel Fraga is a Computer Engineering professional. Previous to set aside in the academic work, she committed her efforts in the industry as UNIX Administrator (HP-UX, Digital Unix, and so forth), Application Administrator (SICAP, Comptel technology for Telecom companies), Windows Administrator, Project Management and Consultancy. She obtained the E-commerce Msc. in the Carlos III of Madrid University. She is studying a PhD in Computer Science in the Carlos III of Madrid University. Her central areas of research are: Software Architecture, Information Engineering, Knowledge Management and Reuse; but she is also interested in ethics and innovative methods of learning supporting new software architects and CS Curriculum. She is currently professor of Software Engineering, Information Engineering and Programming in Carlos III of Madrid University. She is member of ACM CSTA and IASA.

Dr. Jose María Alvarez-Rodríguez
Dr. Jose María Alvarez Rodríguez is Master of Computer Science (2007) and Bachelor of Computer Science (2005) by the University of Oviedo. In June 2008 he was rewarded with the “Best Final Degree Project in Computer Science” by the Official Association of Computer Engineers of Asturias (Spain) thanks to this project “Activation of concepts in ontologies through the Spreading Activation Technique”. From 2005 to 2010 he worked at the R&D Department in the Semantic Technologies area within CTIC Foundation, more specifically he has worked in projects related to semantic web services, rule based systems, cloud computing, search systems, linked data, etc. He has also participated in more than 15 research projects in different competitive programmes, with special focus on the ONTORULE-FP7 project cod. 231875. At the same time he held a position as part-time Assistant Professor from 2008 to 2012 at the Department of Computer Science within the University of Oviedo. He also worked in the WESO Research Group (University of Oviedo) and holds a PhD about e -procurement and linked data: MOLDEAS-”Methods On Linked Data for E-procurement Applying Semantics” supervised by the Prof. Dr. José Emilio Labra Gayo. He is the author of more than 40 publications and other research works in the main international venues and impact factor journals in which he also participates as reviewer, editorial board member and guest editor, e.g. Journal of Computers in Industry.
In 2012, he was also rewarded with a HPC2-Europe Transnational Access Programme grant at SARA (Netherlands), hosted by the ISLA research group leaded by Prof. Marteen De Rijke at the University of Amsterdam. From January to August 2013 he held a position as Marie Curie Research Fellow (Experienced Researcher) at SEERC (Thessaloniki, Greece) within the RELATE-ITN FP7 project researching in “Quality Management in Service-based Systems and Cloud Applications“. Currently he is Visiting Professor within the Deparment of Computer Science at the Carlos III University of Madrid. In the meantime he is part of the research group “Knowledge Reuse” (at the same University) leaded by Prof. Dr. Juan Lllorens.
Ms. Manuela Alejandres
PhD (ABD) and Teaching Assistant
Ms. Manuela Alejandres received her degree in Mathematics in the Carlos III University of Madrid. She is currently finishing her PhD about techniques to improve the drawing of UML models based on the use of neural networks. She is also author of several research groups and member of the Knowledge Reuse Group at Carlos III University of Madrid.
Mr. Jose Miguel Fuentes

Mr. Jose Fuentes received his degree in Computer Science in Carlos III University of Madrid (2003). Now, he’s CCO at The REUSE Company, accountable of the definition of Requirements Quality Suite. For many years he has been involved in the definition of tools, techniques and methodologies aimed to increase the quality and the reusability of both software and system engineering projects. Both working for The REUSE Company, but also as an Associate Teacher at University Carlos III of Madrid, he has leaded different workpackages in different European projects such as CRYSTAL or AUTOSoft. He’s member of the Spanish Chapter of INCOSE.
